I am using a shunt to monitor the current output of a generator on a Ward-Leonard system that uses a 6ra80 as a generator field supply.  I can see that there are inouts that have the differential voltage capabilities, but the comon mode voltage capability.  Can it be done and if so, please point to a guide or document that tells how to do it correctly.
