Allis-Chalmers (the industrial equipment part, not the farm equipment) became Siemens-Allis in the 1980's which then became Siemens Energy and Automation.  So the OP is in the right place.

Anyway, most NEMA ratings imply a 1.15 service factor to be able to run a 60Hz motor on a 50Hz supply..

HOWEVER, on larger motors (above NEMA - I can't remember the cutoff, maybe 300 HP), this will be 1.0  unless specifically stated.  This data is on the nameplate.  If the service factor is not specified, then assume it is 1.0.

Siemens still operates the above NEMA motor factory in Norwood, Ohio (United States) so a search may give you contact information that may be able to assist you further.
