Cannot download safety program in s7-400fh configuration

h2_504 Bronze Member Joined: 11/8/2011 Last visit: 4/30/2025 Posts: 92 Rating: (1)	Dear all, I have a redundant configuration with 2 S7-417-4H, 6ES7-4HT14-0AB0. Program is made using F System library, in CFC, so it is also fail safe. The problem is that when I try to download it (CPU/Download in CFC editor) i get the following error: "For modules with memory cards, the safety-related program in the work memory cannot be changed. For this reason no blocks can be reloaded." and the download stops. Am I doing something wrong? How can I perform the download? In the safety editor there is no download button like it isat S7-300F series so I download from CFC editor (this method is described inS7 F/FH Systems - Configuring and Programming). It is very urgent, as I am on site. Every answer is very much appreciated. Best regards, h2_504

I even monitored it with Safety Editor, which indicated I am in safety mode. Do you have any ideeas what could happpen? Best regards, h2_504

CK84 Posts: 13 Rating: (1)	Hi, Wat kind of memory card are you using in the CPU? If you are usingaFlash memory card try downloading with the "download user program to memory card" option. you can only do from the simatic manager not from the CFC editor! select the blok folder of the program in the simatic manager. Then go to PLC > download user program to memory card. For redundant CPU's you will probably have to repeat this proces for the other CPU asswel.
