what Step7-version do you have?

Try to install the latest ServicePack SP4 and latest open available Hotfix HF8.

Service Pack 4 for STEP 7 V5.5 and STEP 7 Professional 2010

Download from Hotfix 8 to STEP 7 V5.5 SP4 and STEP 7 Professional 2010 SR4

Do the installation as admin(right-click on setup.exe->run as admin) and with deactivated anti-virus-scan.

Hi,

I have Simatic NCM Manager v5.5 with SP3. I tried to install SP4 but this warning occured:

"A STEP 7 is already installed as SIMATIC NCM PC. Please remove the SIMATIC NCM PC first and then install the desired STEP 7."

when i remove the simatic program then its not possible to install the simatic_step7_v55_sp4.

Then I have checked my old laptop which has the related gsd file also has a SP3. So I think the problem comes from another thing.

Do you have any other suggestions?

Hello,

if you had installed NCM then no Step7 is installed.

You should install the Step7 V5.5 then update to SP4 and install the GSDML Files after the installation.
