pulse start command

DenisMor Posts: 344 Rating: (50)	Sinamics control word has an start bit called OFF1 that must be on continuously for the drive to operate. If a drive faults, the OFF1 bit must transition to low and back to high state in order for the drive to enable again.

Graeme Platinum Member Joined: 6/4/2008 Last visit: 11/25/2025 Posts: 1521 Rating: (327)	The large majority of Sinamics Control Units (except for basic units) have free logic with which you can configure your own flip-flops etc, so you could use a pulse to trigger an SR flip-flop and start the drive. But in other type of Siemens drives I saw accepting pulse input. May be taken care (depending on customer specs) internally during engineering by creating SR flipflop etc. . Regards, Vijay
