Hi All,

Kindly help me any way possible as i'm in a bit of a pinch here.

So i need to do the following things in my project. 

1. Get analog values from a Color Sensor (R,G,B) and then convert to actual RGB values and store in some variables or registers and do not know how to move values in registers or do any Arithmetics on analog values.

2. Access these above registers on a pc via a vb.net program (beginner in vb.net)

I've read the posts and a lot of them are having problems, cant really decide on it.

The application is for FBD and i program in LD , i found it a bit different from what is shown

     I also prefer ladder over FBD, but with Logo I allways use FBD. I recommend that to you, too. In the Logo!Soft there is a button to convert FBD to LD and the other way around.

 Thank you Sir for the insight.

 I can process the analog signal now and i can also store it in memory VW0 using Parameter VM Mapping.

But how can i access this memory in VB.NET program ? 

Im going for PC based automation here and its my first time, any pointers would be of great help, anything like what i need , how i should proceed.

     You should set up the communication as in the link from snap7. As I know, the V memory area is seen as DB1 from the snap7 side.

I suggest to you to look around in the snap7 forum, too.

 Checking SNAP7 right now , will post what it is i can do with snap7 to control logo using vb.net
