I have a Siemens CPU 414-2 but,  I wanna replace this with a CPU 414-3. But I don't know how to copy all data from a cpu to another without loosing latest valid parameters in plc. Some parameters could be different in online version. however, I don't want that parameters to be replaced with the offline code. Can you help me in this situtation?

upload all Datablocks from 412 CPU in a separate programm folder, then downlod your offline project to 414 CPU and overrite all Datablocks with the uploaded blocks from 412 CPU.

Hi Fur,

Follow these steps;

1. Create new project with new CPU[414-3].  Compile and save.

2. Open old project. Copy all blocks except system data folder. Also copy symbol table and source files if any in sources. Paste in new project.

3. Now go to online. Select all DBs and copy. Now open your new project and paste all DBs here. Select overwrite if asked.

This will preserve all your symbols, parameters inside FC/FB/DB, titles, comments  and latest values of contents  of DBs.
