TIA V14, can not use (Migrate) the FB283 for motion

edemqlm_ Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hi! This is the reason, why do not like Siemens's concepts. I bought TIA v14 softver, professional for thousands of euros. I bought inverter, technology object, extended function licence for g120, and finally I can not use (Migrate) the FB283 for motion.... ahhh..... it is verry annoying!!! Ste39 chmaika HOW TO I FIX IT Hello, You have installed on PC STEP 7 "classic" V5.4 or V5.5? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from Migration of Project from STEP 7 v5.5 to TIA v13.

ChristophD Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 5/12/2006 Last visit: 9/18/2025 Posts: 22710 Rating: (3071)	Hi, 1.) if you use Technology objects for motion then you need no FB283 ! 2.) there are a DriveLib available with the FB for TIA https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109475044 The FB283 was designed for Step7 V5.x with S7-300 PLC and not complete working in TIA after Migration, here you should use the DriveLib or the Technology Objects.
