I want to set up a communication between two PLCs - S7-300 CPU 314C-2 PN/DP and ET200S CPU IM151-8 PN/DP. I just need to read one real number from PLC 1 and send it to PLC 2. I have seen one example where two same PLCs ET200S CPU IM151-8 PN/DP communicate using SFB12 and SFB13 (BSEND and BRCV) blocks, and they was configurated as one project (both SIMATIC 300 Stations were put in one project and connection was configurated as Industrial Ethernet).

Plase tell me is this configuration is OK (see attachment).

So, I want to know can i do the same thing in my case where PLCs are different.

The IM151-8 behaves the same way as an CPU315-2 PN/DP regarding S7 connections.
If you just need to write a few data into another PLC, the PUT instruction is already doing the job.

yes it is right, PUT/GET is one possibility.

you can also use Open communication and cyclic communication over Profinet(I-Device)
