I have a question about the usage of ET200 modules. In particular the use of the ET200SP modules.

In comparison to the ET200MP, the ET200SP is smaller and has a higher IO density. So the decision to install ET200SP modules can be cabinet space related, but are there other reasons to choose a SP (IM155-6PN) instead of a MP IM155-5PN) modules.

And what about the CPU's? When to choose a ET200SP – CPU1510SP-1PN instead of a CPU1511-1PN? 

Is it only a size does matter thing or are there more benefits?

When you are using Safetymodules you get, in my opinion, a more flexible solution in SP. From a technical wiev you get more or less the same options.

I think the relevant reasons to use ET200SP are the costs and space.

When the performance is enough it is a cheap and space-saving solution.

additional point "Hot-swapping" is avaiable in ET200SP ,which is not available with ET200MP
