How to connect 2CPU S7-300 together

Furthermore connection 2 PLC's S7-300 with each other won't be a real difficult issue. You can connect them by MPI with Global Data, you can connect them by Profibus or you can connect them by ethernet. In my opinion Ethernet is the easiest/fastest way to get communication between 2 or more PLC's. When it's a ethernet solution you could think of using S7315-2PN/DP CPU's because of the integrated ethernet interface. But if a 315 is overkill for your application you could think of a smaller CPU like the S7313-?? and put 2 Ethernet CP's besides it. This could be a CP343-1 (Lean) depending on what you want to do with it. When you have CP343-1 Leans you can use AG_SEND and AG_RCV (fc5 and fc6) with an ISO-on-TCP Connection and if at least one of the CP's is a CP343-1 Standard you can use also S7-Connection with BSEND/BRCV or PUT/GET. So there are many ways to deal with communication and most of this solutions have an example on the Siemens Support website.

Slow speed and low quantity of Data. Implementation over Global Data or by X_GET/XPUT (use of X_GET/XPUT is more easy to understaand and flexible). You can use profile DP (use can integrated interface of the CPU), FDL or FMS (need CP). With Profibus DP you can use Master / Slave relationship, but if both CPU have alread DP slaves, it will benecessary to use a DP/DP coupler.
