i am informed that we can use a 5kΩ potensiometer for controlling the time parameter of a timer within a 6ED1052-2MD00-0BA8 LOGO. IS this true? I am asking since i already have used an encoder in pin I5-I6 and i dont know the procedure or if this is possible or am i asking too much from my LOGO??

from the picture i see ,  that the only difference is the  6.6 kΩ potentiometer at 24 VDC that i need to add in order to get the full range . Then for example i will use I7 -> AI1 for reference and try to turn it to the parameter of time in one of the timers???  am i right? ...

i could use an circuit example if possible if this is no much trouble from you please

The value of the potmeter is not critical, about 1k - 10 kOhms works good.

Notice, the analog input WORKS only from 0 to 10 Volt, so if you connect the pometer directly tot the 24 VDC power, only 40% of the potmeter is working corectly.

If you want to have the full scale of the potmeter working correctly you must place a resistor of aproxemaly 1.4 x the value of the potmeter is serie with the + to the potentiometer.

Every value > 10V wil be reconisd in the LOGO as 10Volt.

The analog value may not exeed the max inputvoltage of the LOGO, its 28Volt
