Iam Posts: 80 Rating: (4)	Hi everybody, I am programming FH system (no PCS7) and calling my F-Blocks (channel drivers & converters) in OB35 (100ms) .I have following questions,,,,,,,, 1- Is it right to call F-channel drivers and F-converters in OB35 , will it effect the cycle execution. If this is OK , i defined PIP1 to OB35 ( in cyclic interuptCPU properties)and used PIP1 in AI/DI address/process image list. The standard logic is in OB1 2- I read in S7 F/FH configuring & Programming Manual Page#43 that "you must configure the OB3X organization blocks provided for safety programs with priority greater than 15 in the cyclic interrupts in the cycle interrupt tab". I have my priority for OB35 is 12 (default) in CPU cyclic interrupts tab and 0 is set in CPU H parameters tab/ cyclic interrupt OB with special handling. Should i increase my OB35 priority to 15 and set the same in cyclic interruptOB with special handling box. or keep it the default 12. 3- Any other special settings to keep an eye on for proper FH system Thanks in advance bye Iam

Why should this be a problem? Iam . . . Should i increase my OB35 priority to 15 and set the same in cyclic interruptOB with special handling box. or keep it the default 12.. . . You should enter 35 for OB with special handling andchange the priority to >15 that is, 16, 17... Regards

Reason for question-2, what is the use of cyclic interrupt OB with special handling , what it is for ifi put here 35 (for OB35) then interrupt priority should be > 15 ,and priorities15 to 28 already used by other OBs, I have no ideaabout this field............ In CFC editor Options -> Customize -> Compile/Downloadadjust "Installed blocks per runtime group or OB" to 200 (for example). Iam Posts: 80 Rating: (4)	Hi phantom, I got away with the warning as you suggested changeparameter in compile/download., For the secondpart.IfI put 35 in "Cyclic Interrupt OD with special handling " Field, then i shouldconsider priority greater than 15 , lets suppose 16 ,but priority 16 is same as OB40 priority in Interrupts tab, Itmaycreateconflictibelieve. Phantom75 Posts: 2661 Rating: (279)	Hi Iam, Are you using or planning to use all hardware interrupts? The setting for OB for special handling comes into play only during update of the standby CPU. During the update higher priority is given to the F program rather than the interrupts occuring during that period. This is for avoiding F monitoring faults. If you plan to use OB40, select priority 17 for OB35. Regards
