please provide an information that, for how long the ET200S modules available in the market. From SIEMENS website, i have noticed that the delivery release in a period of 2004 to 2006. But product discontinuation not announced yet.

Is it better to use ET200SP in place of ET200S? What are the advantages?

Either one.  I have not found much of a difference in functionality.

I use the ET200S because we stock them, have many in the field and I don't see a reason to change yet.

The SP is newer and may be cheaper in some configurations.
