Hello Bil; I am sorry, you are going to have to show more precision whn you come to the forum and ask for help. For example: - The CPU 314 you mention cannot be a Profibus-DP master (without a CP 342-5), unless you mean a CPU 314C-2DP; provide the complete part number please. - There is no IM 151-C in Siemens equipment, unless you mean an ET 200S head module (IM 151-1, IM 151-7...); what is the complete part number (again) of the Profibus slave you want to connect? -Are you using Simatic Manager (what version, 5.x) or TIA Portal (what class of Step 7. Basic, Advanced..., and what version, v13, v13.1...). Note that Stefano (STE39) has already provided interesting links that can provide guidance in setting up a S7-300 CP as Profibus master and another CPU as a slave. For my part I can propose a section of the Siemens programming tutorials (in Word format), one that deals with the configuration and data exchanges of a CPU 314C-2DP master and a IM 151-1 slave: Modul_D16 - SiemensHope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
