6RA70 Drive problem

V.Manivannan Posts: 29 Rating: (0)	We have foundpower and firing PCB burnedin6RA70 [Version 2.1]. So we havereplaced withcomplete new 6RA70 drive [Version 2.2] and download backup parameter. During trail we are getting A031 alarm in the new drive. if we shifted the same version drive from same kind of machine to this machine , the drive is working ok. My question is The new version drive will work with old version backup parameter? Why the alarm A031 occurring with new drive? Looking forward to have reply.

Alarm A031 indicates that probably you need to optimise the Speed Control again with the new drive. Speed Variation with the new Drive is > limits programmed in P590 & P591. If you feel speed variation is within acceptable limits for you, you may increase the limit values Cheers Navnag

Normally this should solve your problem ( If it did not exist in the original drive ). A031 essentially means that the Set - Act Speed deviation is > the limits specified. Otherwise if you are O.K. with the current situation, you can just increase the limits. Cheers Navnag
