Logo TDE return to factory settings after reboot

Sometimes after a reboot (but not every time) Logo TDE loses its IP address and returns to factory settings IP (192.168.0.1) So obviously there is no more communications with Logo which remains setted in a different subnet ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from Logo7 lost IP address.

The TDE is designed for communication with the LOGO! without display connected via the IP address. I have already often power failure and/or the system reboots more often. But never one of the devices has forgotten its IP settings, neither one of the LOGO!s nor the TDE.

Vippi Experienced Member Joined: 9/24/2008 Last visit: 1/2/2026 Posts: 106 Rating: (4)	We actually experienced this bug in more than ten different plants, it seems to happen casually... if we try turning off and on the power intentionally nothing happens, but almost once a month a customer calls saying there is a lack of communication and we have to reset ip address mask.

Helmut_13 Posts: 2930 Rating: (432)	Hi, basically there is no problem because I have several similar combination running. Check the power supply. If LOGO! detects a power switch off and power comes back, LOGO! starts booting, check connected EM's and so on. If you have an unstable power supply and in this condition the power gets lost again, then you never know what a electronic device is doing. It is even harder if the power goes below the specified range and comes back very slowly. There is also another point I had years ago. One of my customer reports a lost of LOGO! program parts after unspecified period of time. At the end one of his stuff used the LOGO! BM and tried to "optimize" the program via the keys on LOGO!. And by default he deleted some part. This is fixed since a lock is used at the cabinet. Do you use the TDE in Operator or in Admin Mode? Maybe you also have a nice guy changing IP-Adr. at the TDE. Hope this helsp

I have encountered a similar situation (but i didn't have TDE but then the LOGO base module went to STOP mode by itself). But this did not happen when i intentionally turned off the power. Always ensure the correct sizing of the power supply.
