Hi to all, i have some question about the using of safety IO modules.

After hardware configuration download, is necessary make, for the safety IO modules, the identification for PROFISAFE adress assignement.

Our siemens supplier as miss to delivery us some ouput modules, but the plant must to be send to the customer and we cannot wait the missing modules.

For the commisioning of the plant no programmer guy will be present on the site

Is possible make a sort of "offline" identification for the modules, for send and install the modules on site without additional programming intervention?

Same question in case of module substitution: in case of one defective module after putting a new one, is necessary make an identification on site?

Is possible for a module already identified reset is profisafe adress and reuse the module on other plant?

offline identification is not possible.

When changing the module it is no problem. The F-destination address is saved on the memory module in the base unit. This memory-module comes with the F-module.
