Very possibly Daniel only updated PLCSIM.

You may have your hands full for a while explaining to people that you need to update all the components of TIA Portal. Since all the updates are not available yet.........

can you make screen of the message?
PLCSIM V14 SP1 is released for Win10 , this should be no problem.

Have you uninstall TIA V14 before you install SP1?

You can try the following:

Uninstall PLCSIM
delete the PLCSIM folder in ProgramData
Install PLCSIM again

 Thanks a lot for showing me the good rout. I've uninstalled PLCSIM, deleted "C:\ProgramData\Siemens\Automation\Portal V14" folder. Then I downloaded  PLCSYM V14 SP1 from official site , not by updater. "Clear" install, reboot and everything works fine now :)

P.S. When I go to "Help > Installed software" I see version V14 of PLCSIM, not V14 SP1. I could find that it is SP1 only by clicking "Detailed information about installed software", think it is some kind of "bug".

 Actually, I've updated both: my TIA Portal Prof v14 and PLCSIM v14.

Same thing worked for me!
