Rafael.Ribeiro Posts: 61 Rating: (1)	Hi all, I'm facing a problem with a 6se7021-0tp50 inverter.. When i turn it on (connector X100 1+ and 2-, the inverter do the start-up routine, then comes to state 8 and flash A017 instead of state 9 ready to run.. This framesize don't have safe stop function or connector. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Graeme Platinum Expert Joined: 6/4/2008 Last visit: 11/25/2025 Posts: 1521 Rating: (327)	Firstly, there are no internal fibre-optics within a Compact-Plus frame size drive, secondly, there is very little hardware to check (According to Siemens recommendations anyway) Ensure your drive output and motor are clear of any ground faults/interwinding faults. A017 usually indicates a Transistor or Gate firing circuit failure when no K80 option is present, but unfortunately, the Compact-Plus Transistor pack is usually one module. Regards, Graeme

Rafael.Ribeiro Posts: 61 Rating: (1)	Hi Graeme, you is right about the electronics, this compact drive have only a cpu (cucp) and a power card, wich contains the the IGBT moldule and the firing circuits. Thanks for the explanation about this failure. But I was getting a wrong drive temperature reading on parameter r833. I checked the fan and the air temperature of the air and it's good. I guess this problem is on the electronics. Thanks all.

RPH Posts: 5 Rating: (1)	In equipment MASTERDRIVES Motion Control Plus or Vector Control Plus (6SE7021) that do not have the safe-off there is a connector (X4 in power electronic board at the place where the safe-off plate is installed when available) with a removable jumper on power electronics board. The connector allows three different connections but only one nullifies it. Check that. Attachment MCP conector safe-off not available.jpg (482 Downloads)
