Dear Team,

i want to measure output voltage of the sinamics drive by using output terminals. i know the v/f factor to check out the voltage as per frequency but i want to  check it practically. I assume normal multimeter can not measure. so suggest me the multimeter or the way to verify or cross check the voltage which comes out of v/f factor.

for that you can use a VSM Module. It will filter the pulse frequency parts of the output voltage.

The VSM could be configured in VECTOR mode or on the ALM /SLM (but then you have to deactivate that the VSM would influence the infeed control).

which hand held multimeter can serve the purpose except VSM thing ???

I don't think that held multimeters is what you need. For such tasks before, we used usuall Digital Oscilloscope as example Rigol 1052  with probe 100:1, later we were purchased Fluke 120 serie. If you have opportunity to borrow a DO with high voltage probe, it'll be best choice. Because DO automatically evaluates all values you need and they are really true values, by the way, you'll be able to see output signal forms as well. Also, the seeing the output signal forms which go to the motor, gives a new insight into whether was purchased good quality VFD or it's just a fake in beautiful wrapping.
