Hi all,

I have Decentral Peripherie over Profibus in my project. I have configured Analog output 332-7ND02-0AB0 to perform diagnostic (common and group), and current output. From the software I set 10mA output and disconnect the wires, but SF LED does not tunr on, neither software diagnostic (SFC 59) shows any channel error, and no EXTF on the CPU (S7-414-5H). what am I missing? I have used this configuration many times and it always worked before.

but how can the hardware diagnostic be related to the OBs? I think it is only a matter of hardware configuration

Check that you have downloaded HW config to the CPU after your last modifications.

Check once again that the channel you break is set to current (4-20mA).

Still no solution for this issue. Could anybody please confirm that this module has the wire break diagnostic capability?

 Mistery solved. 7ND02 is the successor product for 7ND00. Previous product included wire break diagnostic, current product does not... Welcome to Siemens.

Changed to 5DH01, everything works fine

probably problem with not correct situation explained. You've inform us that this cfg works previously ok, you did change this time from 00 to 02 version? This info you didn't post... This is also important for all of us that manual reading need to be MUST prior make some upgrade. Thank you for your info, helpful also to me.

I agree that information was not complete.. but 02 was declare as "successor" of 00.. Even though I would have read the manual, this info was hidden God knows where.. local Siemens representative found it for me..
