jklm Posts: 1742 Rating: (309)	Hello, With the loadable FBs called TCON, TSEND, TRECV you can open a TCP/IP connection and send/receice "raw data" to and froma partner. By "raw data" I mean bytes contained in a databloc. These bytes could be characters to print. But I guess that You will also have to implement a kind of protocol (a kind of hanschake) between the CPU and printer via TCP messages, to command the printer. I hope that this protocol is not too complicated (see manual of the printer). Else this could be a time consuming challenge.

Get PN CPU talk to PC via open TCP communication, to prove all Siemens part works okay.There area few similar and good topics discussed in the forum to help figure out this task. 2. Replace PC by the ethernet printer and configure the printer to match TCP settings at PLC end. Since the printeris not Siemens part, took a bit time to setup.The handcheck functionat printer side (send back what received) isverypoor.However fundamentally it works fine. END
