You have resolved what Siemens could not!!

I downloaded on a Windows machine, then expanded with Stuffit on the Mac.

Worked first time!!

Works 100% (up and downloading projects, monitoring etc etc)

Maybe a another Mac user can try downloading the Upgrade with Firefox or Chrome on Mac?

Firefox did not work for me.

Just another tip to others...

Mac saves the app file under users\yourname\applications NOT under 'applications' on main HDD

So you might find that you open the old version.

I did the upgrade, then removed the old version.

OSX unpacks downloaded files automaticly for our convenience. You can see a change in filesize from the download site and your downloaded upgrade: 113.1 mb -> 114.3 mb

You need to disable this in the Safari Settings and download the free program Unarchiver from the Appstore. If you download the file and then unpack it yourself you will see that you are able to install it.

Also in Sierra the Allow from all Sources under Security is gone. You can get that option back in Gatekeeper by running the following command:

sudo spctl --master-disable

So Sierra is officially not mentioned on the site but it works perfectly once you get it running.
