Hi,

I have 1516-F PLC with ET200SP remote I/O.

On this remote I/O, I have multiple failsafe in- and output cards.

One of the output cards gives me rarely a failure "Output Defective".

Immidiately after this failure the Safety program puts the card into passivation.

This happends approxamitely once a day and it lasts for about 1 minute and then it dissapears with no explanation.

I allready replaced the card, but the malfunction continues to occur.

Does anyone know what the problem could be?

How it is defective: short, broken wire,... see further details in diag. buffer.

It can be due to wrong wiring of your output. The module monitors both currents P and M, if they differ then it's an error. You should connect a contactor that does not have any other potential wire on it, other than P and M from safety module.
