hey every one 

am using nettoplcsim program to interface between simatic manager 5.5  simulation and Kepware server 

however ,,, it was working perfectly ,, but  now this problem takes place i cant find the sim TCP/IP even i turned on the SIM ?  the picture shown explain what i mean??

also for infromation i just setup TIA V14 maybe that ake the conflict?? really i dont know ..

if any body can  help

255.255.255.255 --> Is this correct ?? This is not a valid IP Adress and no valid Subnet Mask...

yes I think it´s the subnet mask - this this the general setting I think.

In the Link you can see that you have to set the IP Adress of the simulated PLC and not use the defalut 255.255.255.255 setting.

the problem is solved by turning on plcsim at first place before opening step 7 or the simulation when windows start up , the problem caused by some of s7 services that run when opening step 7  

not a matter of ip addresses because if the cpu appears it take the correct address automatically
