what will happen if in a H-System all sync channel fail and  both CPUs become master?

what will be its effect of IM-153-2?

Hi dear,

We have H-System with 2 414-4HJ00 CPU and some ET200M with IM153-2 .

1. CPU1 is master and CPU 2 is backup
2. 1^stIM-153 is active and 2^ndIM153is not active
3. 2 sync module failed and CPU2 stopped
4. After some while all I/O ( field and Modbus) terminated and plant totally shut done.
5. We discovered that Both CPU became master when there was no redundancy link.
6. It seems that IM153-2 which was linked to stopped CPU, became active after its CPU became master (CPU was in STOP Mode)
7. Because we didn’t have any process in STOPPED CPU, we lost all I/O.

The problem is:

Why Interface Module Linked to STOPPED CPU activated and other Interface which was linked to RUN CPU became Inactive?

We test this situation several time and it happened again and again.

In shut done time we hadn’t seen this change state but after shut done we test it and it seems that it was the problem .
