reg Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	There is no shortcut as far as I am aware unless you want to write your own block.I would use use READ_RTC triggered with SM0.5 HTH

I think the easiest way to display Date and Time is, to read clock with the Read_RTC block. You get back a 8-byte time buffer in serveral bytes.You can use these bytes to create your Date/Time-display. In S7-200 manual you find the structure of the 8-byte time buffer of "Read_RTC" best regards robster

darkbits Posts: 31 Rating: (0)	Hi, I think i know what you need, take a look at www.nubitek.com, there you can find some totally free libraries that gives support in different common tasks like read and display the PLC time, activate date-time events, string conversions, not-so-easy math functions, and others. Take a look, hope it helps. (www.s7-200.net also have some interesting libraries, you never know what you would need. They are all free, of course)
