smartclient.exe under windows10 the onscreen keyboard missing

LaraCroft Posts: 60 Rating: (2)	Hi I have an existing touchscreen MP277(WinCC Flex 2008 SP3 Upd7) with SmartService license installed correctly. With another PC TouchScreen (Windows10 Pro 64), I am running the « SmartClient.exe ». I can see and make some action remotely to the MP277 but, when I have any numeric entre and I click over, I don’t have the « Onscreen keyboard »! So, that my problem, the numeric touch screen key board is missing. But when I look directly at MP277 the touch screen keyboard is displayed. I run the same « SmartClient.exe » over my laptop (Windows 10 Pro 64) and I have the same situation. But when I run with another laptop with Windows7 Pro 64, then it works fine, I can see the touch screen keyboard. So, I think there is something wrong with Windows10 that may prevent the touch keyboard to run properly. I have change Windows Safety setting, to disable PopUp Blocker, but without any success! Need help!

LaraCroft Posts: 60 Rating: (2)	Finally, I find out that there is missing driver and/or software utility to get “SmartClient” to work properly. When I installed “WinCC Flexible 2008” minimum installation without any licence, then “SmartClient” will work perfectly with the Touch Keyboard. If I uninstalled WinCC Flex, then the Touch Keyboard is not working again. I will like to know how to install the missing driver and/or software utility without installing the complete WinCC Flexible software!!!!

You can download here: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/100777999 you need the touchinputPC ("Protool" OSK) but there is no single installation file on DVD. Bye Murof
