I have a project with an existing project including a CPU 315-2 Profibus system. Recently I added a IM151-1 DP slave with power module and Siwarex CS module.

The IM151-1 DP slave works and shows no problem in the hardware config. Also the calibration of the Siwarex CS module was successful (with Siwatool CS software).

The problem is that I can't access the data, online in the buffer of the CPU I get a read/write error from the Siwarex CS address used in the FB42 block.

Can somebody help me solving this problem?

(I will add the project, the use of the FB42 is in FC10)

I tried the same IM151-1 Standard station with power module and Siwarex CS module on another PLC. Here it works instantly. So it isn't really a SIWAREX problem, it is more a profibus problem then I think.

Can a moderator move this problem to another section please?

Hello ThomasBrondeel,

Your PLC is too old!

It has the firmware V1.1.

You need at least V2.0 and you have to choose the “DPV1” mode at the Interface module.
