Analog input module doesn't read sensors

StamGuy Advanced Member Joined: 3/20/2017 Last visit: 1/19/2026 Posts: 145 Rating: (2)	I have a 6ES7134-4GD00-0AB0 module (4AI 4-20mA, 2 wire) that doesn't read the sensors (shows only 32767 or -32767). I tried to replace the module and the terminals connector but it doesn't work. I know that the sensors are ok because in another PLC (not Siemens) they work. What else can I check or do?

The card you have (6ES7134-4GD00-0AB0) is a 2-wire connection (Passive). (The power supply for sensor is from the Siemens card) Perhaps you need the 4-wire connection (Active) then you need the card (6ES7134-4GB11-0AB0) (Pay attention this is a 2-channel card) Best regards, Wizard
