I think the original question would be to upgrade the Logo! itself? I was thinking to do the same as the latest Logo seems to have more functionality looking at the webinterface?

The firmware of a LOGO!8.1 can not be updated to the firmware of a LOGO!8.2 because Siemens does not provide a firmware update for this case. Only the firmware of a LOGO! 8.1 with FS04 or FS05 can be updated to FS06. The firmware of the LOGO! 8.2 has the production status FS01 with the firmware version V1.82.01. If you want to use the new functions of the extended web server of the LOGO! 8.2, you have to buy a LOGO! 8.2.
