Hi,

I follwed this instruction to enable https.

1. un-comment var fs = require("fs"); in /home/root/.node-red/settings.js
   
   
2. un-comment https: {
       key: fs.readFileSync('privatekey.pem'),
       cert: fs.readFileSync('certificate.pem')
   },
   
   
   and change it to 
   https: {
       key: fs.readFileSync('/home/root/.node-red/privatekey.pem'),
       cert: fs.readFileSync('/home/root/.node-red/certificate.pem')
   },
   
   
3. create the certifactes in /home/root/.node-red with the commands
   openssl genrsa -out privatekey.pem
   openssl req -new -x509 -key privatekey.pem -out certificate.pem -days 1095
   

Then restart node-red and connect to https://IP-address:1880.
