MM 440 Firmware 2.05/2.11

PA-28 Posts: 12 Rating: (1)	Hi. A problem with a motor not runningin our factory was localized to to a MM440 converter 0,55kW (6SE6440-2UD15-5AA1) This converter had Firmware 2.05. Before it was replaced a parameter copy was downloaded locally to a computer by DriveMonitor. The converter was replaced with a new 6SE6440-2UD15-5AA1, this one had firmware 2.11. Stored xx.dnl file from old converter was uploaded.It was still not possible to start themotor. No fault messages. In online HW-config the node was"Available and ok". The converter was replaced again, this time with a 0.75kW 6SE6440-2UD17-5AA1. Firmware 2.06. The same xx.dnl fil was uploaded. New start was carried out, and this time the motor was running. Was this a coincidense, or must the firmware(2.05) in the old .dnl filebe upgraded to 2.11 to be used with a new converter? Thanks in advance.
