Since only SP6 of MicroWin 4.0 is Vista compatible, if you're using an earlier SP release of MicroWin 4.0 you'll have to follow the directions on that third link. Basically you'll need a copy of microwin.exe from a previously successful install of the copy of MicroWin you have, as well as SP6. The microwin.exe will allow you to 'upgrade'/install SP6, directly. You may need to clear out some items from your registry though if you have an incomplete MicroWin install.
