I'm working on a redundant system using two computers with Windows XP Embedded and each one with Sicam Pas V7.01 SP2 Hotfix 1.

The PAS is integrated to the substation IEDs (Siprotec 4, siprotec 5, and GE) through IEC61850 and to the control center through IEC60870-5-101.

I configured the redundancy following all the instructions named on the manual (system redundancy, dependent) and with the IEC61850 is working fine, but with the IEC60870-5-101 is not.. If I remove the cable from the primary it looks like the secondary takes the control of the interface, but the control center can not see it connecting. Looking at the control center telegrams it seems that it confirms the connection, but when the master sends a general interrogation command the slave doesn't responds... To connect again to the control center I have to stop the protocol and initiate it again.. not too convinient for a unattended substation..Is there any chance it could be a setting I'm missing or something I can be doing wrong on the redundancy configuration?

Can anyone tell me any similar experience with this kind of issue?
