Is there anybody here who can help me to integrate comparator block to compare the difference of time of each stopwatch block?Once the difference of the two stopwatch block greater than 50ms it will give me fail results. thanks in advance. ixo65 Grandmaster Joined: 12/18/2014 Last visit: 1/9/2026 Posts: 36432 Rating: (4547)	The time value of a stopwatch has a width of 32 bit (DWord), the analog comparator can only compare 16 bit values. If the time value exceeds 32,767, the stopwatch will continue to run, but the analog comparator will stop at 32,767. Only if the value remains below 32767 does a simple comparison with the analogue comparator work. Attachment Comparator.png (263 Downloads)

#dP Posts: 2826 Rating: (692)	Hello. Am I the only one worried about the 50ms difference? Attached is one idea. Left side is for testing the concept and right side is the compare suggestion. The idea is flawed and attachment has been removed. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Your settings in the comparators are wrong. The smallest time base of a stopwatch is 1/100s, not 1/ 1000s. Click on the stopwatch and you see, the smallest base 1/100s. Even if below the block is "ms". But there are 10 ms. So 50 must not be entered in the comparator, but 5. The circuit would work only if the time to be measured not exceeds the duration of 5 minutes, 27 seconds and 67 hundredths of a second. In addition, like the #dP user, I have doubts as to whether a minimum time base of just 1/100 seconds can accurately capture a 5/100 seconds deviation.

What is the purpose of the amplifiers B29, B30 and B31? How is the difference window of -50ms and +50ms handled? In advance my thanks.
