Yes, you can control LOGO! remotely via the internet. This is for the web server.

If you have a static IP address you must forward the port 8080 of your router. 

There are several videos on youtube.

Also, see the attachment for the port forwarding. This is the image from my router and your's might be different. But the settings are the same.

This is absolutely right.

Safety first off all. 

For testing purposes it is alright. 

After that, for safety, he must go further than just port forwarding.

For a LONG time i also thought static IP was the answer, until i did it, and within an hour I was under attack from port scanners!
Very scary when you see on the logs how random IP addresses are trying to login!
you actually see the usernames they trying (admin, Admin, administrator, default .... )
every 2 seconds!
(i pulled the Ethernet cable..)

What we do for our units,now, is to host a VPN that your remote site will log into with username and password.
then you log into the same VPN, and BAM! you talk to your LOGO like its in the same room!

Sounds Nice....?
If you not a router/networking/ TCP/IP person, get a pro in..seriously.
Ask your ISP to set it up for you, its what they do.

Example:
The Static IP is not required at LOGO site, actually.

1) Get hosted VPN or build your own.
Host with a Mikrotik routerboard, as an example.
use IPSec or best security you can get - not vanilla

2) On your router/device that gives the LOGO its internet connection:
The connection device 'calls into' the VPN host
We use a Mikrotik 750 unit (dirt cheap) behind the main internet router.
It is well know device and super configurable, unlike a normal D-Link or Huawei router.
This is half the VPN
You need to setup the VPN login with IP's, gateways and ports.
This is why the Static IP not required, even behind a mobile carrier...with NAT

3) Setup the users, static routes and ports in the VPN to route to THAT device
We have multiple sites, with multiple devices
Each user has its own IP range and allowed routes

4) Setup VPN access on the PC's and phones you will use.

This method allows you FULL access to the LOGO for programming and web server page.

Other option is the CMR2020 and 2040 GSM units. But they are mobile network ONLY at this stage. AND require unrestricted APN's  to work, which is tricky.
The CMR has a TCP/IP point, but is ONLY for configuration and talking to ONE LOGO.
Even the emails are sent via mobile connection...

That setup is well documented under CMR product page.
