Hello Gents,

Could you please help and support me with my issue

i am using Chinese plc with WINCC . i just need to know how can i download the ladder diagram from the plc to my laptop

Note: I know how to connect and accesses to PLC with my laptop but i don't know from where and the steps to save the ladder program and take backup to my laptop .

You do not identify the PLC brand and model in this project, or the programming software you are using.

If the PLC is from Siemens then we could probably help you. But since you say it is Chinese, there is a chance it is made by another manufacturer, and our answers will depend on individual members' experience.

Yes it is Siemens S7-200 CN  and using Wincc fixable 2008 .

 WinCC Flexible is only for HMI devices. You need another program for the PLC.

Hati is right, in that the programming software for the S7-200 series is Microwin v4.0, now at SP8 or SP9.

Tho use Microwin with a S7-200 CN PLC, you need to set the language for Microwin to Chinese, as explained in the following discussion:

Do you already have a version of Microwin v4.0 on your programming PC?

Thanks a lot dear for your support . it is right i am using PLC with HMI which i was thought the two devices can be using by WinCC flexible 2008 SP4.

Now the question what type programming i need to download the ladder diagram from the PLC.

You cannot legally download a free, complete version of Step 7 Microwin v4.0 from Siemens. Until recently (2016) you could purchase it from Siemens, but it has now been phased out (no longer purchasable)..
