I’m facing a problem with response of a hmi- tp270. I’m using Pro Tool V 6.0 sp3. The problem I’m facing is with the screen changeover speed, and sometimes some of the functions are not picked by the plc. i'm using cpu 314c 2dp , its scan time is around 100-120 ms. i hav some functions in the tp, through which i'll be generating pulse when user is pressing a button, i.e on button down setbit & on buttonup reset bit.if i just tap th button or press itfornormal time, the operationwhich is supposed to take place using that pulse generated through button press does not happen, i hav to press the button for considerably long time and then release it, then only the function will be executed..
and there is problem with the screen changeover time also, its response is sluggish.
even tag updation is also slow.i tried by changing the acqusition and cycle timing of TP,even then there was no drastic change observed.

thanks for considering my request, actually the tochpanel was earlier on profibus port only, there also the delay was there, but the baudrate was 12mbps, which the requirement of the system considering the other dp nodes... i hav around 12-15 nodes on dp port.... so i cannot make that 1.5mbps, hence i'll check with the other option.... thanks for the suggestion...
