OP25 -> OP277 replacement

Vl@dimir Posts: 19 Rating: (0)	We need to replace old panel OP25 with new panel OP277 6" in comminication with controller S5-115. Convertation of project have been carried out without any problem but we couldn't to appoint right addresses on Q and I of OP277 in ComProfibus project. OP25 had Q=32 words and I=32 words (words = 220-252) OP277 have Q=32 words and I=64 words with according to class B middle block lenght (WinCC_flexible_2005_kommunication1.pdf). For normal operation of communication driver OP277 - S5-115 both addresses (Q and I) should begin with the same address word, and all of the address space should be used. It's possible if begining address will be dw188, in this case we'll have the following address spaces I=64 words (188-252) and it will be OK, and Q=32 words(188-220) but we need Q address spaces 32 words (220-252). Is there any decision of this problem? May be some turning of communication driver? Or S5 program project address space changing only one way to decide this question? Hope on your early reply- Brgds-

The Brain Posts: 1611 Rating: (121)	Hi, i mean i have read your Info "with attention", but i think you have to change your Com-Profibus configuration! You use "middle" -> but you should use "tiny". If you use "tiny" you have the right address block! Maybe you should contact the siemens hotline.
