create a dynamic MsgFilterSQL for Alarmlist

Miffo Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	I am trying to combine a trendwindow with a filtered alarm list. I use the function below to read out the time for the Ruler and then I would like to create a filter band width +/- 2 hoursinterval (based on the Rulertime).The idea is that the operator can look into the trendwindow, and if he finds something strange in the trend, he can easily analyze the alarms for that period. Can anyone help me with some ideas for the c-script (thatcan handle transition between hours,day,months,years) ?.There seems to be aVBSfunction for it (DateAdd), butthe best thing would be ifI could use c-script to create two timestrings. Check for the code that adjust the time-zone, there are actually WinCC script functions that give you the local time, so the script can be simplified. One more thing (PCS7 V701) Do you know if it is possible to read out the timevalue for a "focused" alarm in the alarmlist. It would be great to mark an alarm and then read out the time in order to filter the trend for this specific time period (even better would be if I mark a HHalarm in the trend, I filter and show the trend for that tag for the specific period). I assume that you know where this type of functionality comes from..... BR/Miffo

There is also a pdl referred to (AlarmStatusUpdate.pdl) which might be good to have. RonaldNijssen Experienced Member Joined: 1/21/2008 Last visit: 1/2/2026 Posts: 39 Rating: (14)	Yes that's possible, To read from the Alarm List Active X you should use MSRTGetSelectedMsg() This function has 3 arguments: 1. the name of the ActiveX control, this name must be unique in the run-time system. The name is the name of the object in the graphic 2. a pointer to a structure of the type MSG_RTDATA_STRUCT 3. a pointer to a structure of the type CMN_ERROR The MessageNumber and Date and Time stamp will be in the MSG_RTDATA_STRUCT type variable after the function executes. Please check the format and members of the structure in the "MSRTAPI.H" include file that you will find in the "aplib" subdirectory in your WinCC install. You will recognize the Time and Date elements Ronald Nijssen
