I did a software reboot. Reboot command or shutdown now -h + power off/on same behavior.
Also if i unplug/plug the usb dongle it's blocked again.
I did build the example image with the github branch jan/update.

Did a workaround with script during boot. Made a script like shown here.

I can confirm that the rpi stick requires special massaging, but - in my case - on every boot. Therefore, I would recommend to change your interfaces file like that:
