 I have a project at work. I have a radio/gps system that sends correction data to gps/machine conroll systems on excavators. this whole system is in a container. The container is placed, where there are no electricity. We have a fuelcell that produces 12V for the system, it also charges a battery. 

I use the logo 8! 12/24v rce as a timer to set starting hours, also some other automation in this container.

i also want to monitor the voltage, example: it the fuel cell is not prouducing power and the voltage drops below a certain level I want to turn on Q4, this has a flashing led connected to it.

Is there anyway to monitor voltage?

Hi, 

Although Ixo65's answer is correct there are alternatives which might be a little easier to implement. 

You can also use a voltage measuring relay which has a settable setpoint to trigger the contact. 

So you can set it up to trigger at (for example) <8v, the contact can simply be connected to a digital input. 

PS: with the solution ixo65 has provided you have more possibilities as can monitor the entire voltage range, not only 1 setpoint.
