muha_mag Posts: 80 Rating: (1)	Hi, I have PLC S7-315-2DP connected to micromaster 440 with profibus DP. When the engine ie micromaster 440 is switched on, the SF lit and BF light flashes on the PLC occasionally. The buffer diagnostic shows that the error in profibus DP. I changed the cable and connector but again the same. And when the engine does not work then there are no faults, only when it is switched on. What could be a problem for?

muha_mag Posts: 80 Rating: (1)	6 slave length network cca 20m speed 1,5Mb how to check resistance? i have a problem only when doing this micromaster, the other slave when working is no problem. Sometimes when this micromaster is running an error and a other slave, but when this micromaster is off I have no other problem

mopS04 Posts: 5521 Rating: (1058)	hi muha_mag, sounds like you have problems in wiring, grounding or shielding. On the first and the last node of a Profibus line you need to acitvate a termination(resistor)). Check also if your devices have a proper grounding and if the shield of your PB-wires is proper grounded. hope this helps, regards,
