Hello,

I am new to Siemens PLC  and using TIA portal V15 software version . I am using S7-1500 PLC with    ET200 SP remote modules . I have a 6ES7138-6AA00-0BA0 which is High speed counter where i have connected a encoder  and trying to read the pulses.

Could any one send me a sample program on how to go ahead with the interface.

Do i need to use the technology block  or any other function block to read the encoder pulses .

Reply shall help me a lot.
