I have a flexpanel that seems to contain a different version of the software that what is on our AsBuilt server.

I understand I can do an online/offline compare but I would prefer to log on to the panel and retrieve the software from the panel and to my ES and then do an offline/offline compare with the AsBuilt SW.

How do I achieve this?

You can't compare WinCC Flexible software online/offline or even offline/offline. The second problem is, if the backtransfer option is not enabled, you can't upload the project from the display. The only way to do a backup is Prosave, and this backup can't be modified.

Easyest is to request the latest backup from the original programmer.

How do I see if backtransfer is enabled and how do I enable it if it is not?

Unfortunately the only programmer on these 2 panels have been me and I must have failed in checking the latest version in to our backup system.

I don't think Prosave is the only backup option - we have VersionDog (https://www.auvesy.com/versiondog.html) which was/is recommended by our main automation supplier who is a certified "Siemens Solution Partner".

You can enable "Backtransfer", wehn you download your project to the panel.

But it will need a lot of memory, so you need a Memory Card.
