I use terminal 5 (DIN 1) for starting the motor, P701 = 1 (ON/OFF), 

P700 = 2

P1000 = 2

I think 9 is +24vdc output and you have to give pin 7 ready and then pin 5 forward(CW) direction or pin 6 backwards(CCW) direction. Analog input gives speed adjustment. (Attachment) 

pin/terminal 9 provides 24 when referred to pin/terminal 24. With the drive energized this will be available.

Take this 24v and apply it to terminal 5, the drive will run, if the do not have a motor connected the internal fan will start in the drive as a clue.

P700 =2, this sets the run command from a terminal input, connecting terminal 9 to terminal 5.

P1000 = 2, this sets the set point from a terminal input terminal 3/4.

If this fails to operate reset the Micromaster to factory default, and try again without setting any parameters.

The Micromaster from factory default will start with a connection applied between terminal 9 and 5, this is to be applied after power up.

I can only assume then that the Micromaster is defective, and should be replaced.

Sorry about this conclusion, there is nothing which I can recommend further, but please come back if you think of anything else you need to try.
