Hi Everyone,

I'm having an issue upgrading my Soft Comfort software on my Macbook Pro running OS X 10.9.5.

I've downloaded the update zip, extracted using Stuffit Expander and tried to run the Setup Application however whenever I click on the icon nothing happens. I've allowed permissions on applications from 'anyone' so security shouldn't be an issue.

Has anyone ever had this problem before?

• Requires Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, Mac OS X Lion, Mac OS X Mountain Lion, Mac OS X Maveriks

• Be sure you have Java 1.5 or later installed. You can download Java fromOracle´s site

• The compressed installer should be recognized by Stuffit Expander and should automatically be expanded after downloading. If it is not expanded, you can expand it manually usingStuffIt Expander 6.0or later.

• If you have any problems launching the installer once it has been expanded, make sure that the compressed installer was expanded using Stuffit Expander.
  If you continue to have problems, please contact technical support.

Yeah I've done all of that. It's as if the installer just doesn't want to start for some reason!

I recently downloaded the file and installed it on my laptop without having a problem.

I don't know what to say to you. 

Try to download the file once again and start over from the beggining with the installation. 

 If still doesen't work start a support request. 

Strange. 

I've tried installing a few times but had no luck. I've also started a support request however was told the same information you've just said.

I really hope this can be resolved somehow!

Try to download the file if you can to another operating system. Then transfer it to mac and start the installation again

 NIBOU you're a genius! I downloaded and extracted on a windows PC and it worked fine when trying to install. Thank you very much!!
