hi, yes, in an H-System, it should be possible. The system should recognize it and switch to the other CPU. Why do you want to switch it off? regards, |

If EXT FLT LED is glowing then check any of your configured device is disconnected from the PLC. |

I am not actually sure on how to do that. Is there a manual on how to do that correctly? Thanks |

Hello,
EXTF simply may be due to a dead battery and all other possibilities. To find out the exact reason, you need to consider all LEDs on connected devices and main CPUs plus reading the diagnostics buffer for a better understanding.Mostly , if you are well-experienced a simple glance to the system is enough to find the exact point of error. You will find more in THIS Manual for fault tolerant CPUs section 5.2.Force the master CPU to STOP or power cycle it without considering status of stand by CPU may lead to a machine/plant shutdown. I hope it helps, hdhosseini |
